The Center’s Pediatric Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Program can treat children and adolescents with common disorders, such as chronic constipation and nocturnal enuresis/bed wetting, and other conditions.
The pelvic floor physical therapist will perform an evaluation that will include testing the strength and muscle coordination of the diaphragm, pelvic floor, abdominal wall, lower back and hips. The therapist may then recommend a treatment plan specifically designed to address the young patient’s needs.
