Standard Hospital Charges

To help patients understand what their potential financial liability might be for hospital services they obtain and to enable patients to compare charges for similar services across hospitals, Princeton Medical Center (PMC) participates in the web site www.njhospitalpricecompare.com. This site, which first launched in 2007, was established by the New Jersey Hospital Association to allow healthcare consumers to compare information about various services and charges at New Jersey's acute care hospitals. Please note, most healthcare consumers will not pay posted rates. Insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid all pay hospitals at rates far below the posted charges on www.njhospitalpricecompare.com. Actual amounts will vary.
