Just like all grandparents who cherish their grandchildren, this past year David and Patricia Atkinson were inspired to support our tiniest and most fragile patients, babies in our Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

David and Pat Atkinson have long been among Princeton Health’s most dedicated supporters, and they often fulfill unique funding needs that pique their interest.  And earlier this year, they did just that when they agreed to help fund several important projects to improve care for patients and families in our NICU.

Their donation will support:

AngelEyes Web Camera System, a tele-visitation tool that provides parents with 24-hour live-streaming visual access to their newborn, which removes the barriers separating families from their loved ones’ during their critical care stay.

NeoView Neonatal Video Intubation System, a highly advanced and accurate video laryngoscopy system for tracheal intubation that can be used on infants as small as 1kg.

Baby Sleep Sacks for newborns in our Nursery and NICU. The Baby Sleep Sack is an evidence-based recommendation for reducing the risk of SIDS, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The PMC Foundation is grateful to David and Pat Atkinson for their generosity that will make these important initiatives possible.
