In 1957, the building in which I was living in New York City was scheduled to be torn down, and I had to move, along with the two little boys who had been born to me by that time. I chose Princeton as our new home. I’ve always been grateful that I did. Princeton has been a wonderful place to raise sons, and I have very much appreciated the institutions, organizations and amenities that contribute so well to its quality of life. I was remarried here, and two more sons were born in the Princeton hospital. I myself spent time in the hospital for a variety of medical matters over the years, and I found my treatment and the level of care to be superb. When my attorney suggested as a matter of financial planning that I create an IRA with charitable beneficiaries, I leaped at the chance to name Princeton Medical Center Foundation, knowing I would be contributing to one of the most important and worthy institutions in this remarkable town.
