“Even though I was recovering and in substantial pain, I was aware that I was being well taken care of. At least two soft-spoken people at a time would enter my room, attend to me, ask if I needed anything, and quietly do what they were there to do,” wrote Anita in a letter to Princeton Health.
Anita further expressed her gratitude by naming Princeton Medical Center Foundation as a beneficiary of her individual retirement account (IRA). Her generosity will ensure that future generations also benefit from the same level of care.
We are deeply honored by Anita’s generosity and thoughtfulness, and appreciate her recognition of the skill and compassion of our caregivers. We are also thankful for the physicians and staff who work tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives the attention and care they need to move toward recovery and a return to their normal lives.
Anita is an inspiration to others who wish to make similar philanthropic contributions. For more information, please visit Charitable Giving at Princeton Medical Center Foundation (princetonhcs.planmylegacy.org), or contact Danielle Oviedo at Danielle.Oviedo@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
