When adults with addictions to alcohol or benzodiazepines are admitted to Princeton House Behavioral Health, they may be first treated within our inpatient medical detoxification unit so they can be monitored and their medications adjusted as needed. This program provides short-term, intensive treatment for patients with substance use disorders.

Patients can be transferred seamlessly to Princeton Medical Center if acute medical care is needed. After completing withdrawal management, patients generally transition to an inpatient or outpatient program for continued care.
