Church & Dwight made a very generous donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), surface sanitizer, dry shampoo and 3D printed masks, while TE Connectivity produced and donated almost 1,000face shields for our staff. The Nassau Inn provided complimentary hotel rooms for staff who had to self-isolate for a combined 550 nights. Bombas provided 500 pairs of socks for our healthcare workers as their company philosophy is built on giving back.
L’Oreal in South Brunswick, donated gloves, a 55 gallon drum of hand sanitizer, lotion and lip balm; Firmenich in Plainsboro was one of our first corporate partners to offer to use their facilities to produce hand sanitizer for us during the shortage. In addition, Firmenich made our community’s first gift to our Healthcare Heroes campaign to honor and recognize our employees for their work.
In an effort to brighten our healthcare heroes’ day, an anonymous donor thoughtfully donated 500 bouquets of tulips from Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge to hand out at the end of the day. The smiles were sprouting up all over on that Tulip Tuesday!
Community members, students, church groups and other community organizations donated surgical masks, hair coverings, sent healthy snacks, many meals and made signs with messages of encouragement and gratitude.
Our staff have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity.
