Campaigns for COVID-19

Princeton HealthCare System Foundation Princeton HealthCare System Foundation

Shortly after the onset of the pandemic, the Princeton Medical Center Foundation created two special funds for community support:  The COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund and the Healthcare Heroes Fund. Over 800 donors made a gift to one or both of these funds, which has helped provide critical resources as we have navigated the changing needs and challenges.

COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund

Since we launched our COVID-19 Response Fund, we have been humbled and inspired by the generosity of the individuals, families, community organizations and businesses that have contributed. Every dollar donated to this fund is deployed for medical equipment and supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as other critical resources to support our preparedness in response to the COVID-19 health crisis. As of May 31, 2020 we have raised $488,460 from 311 donors.

Healthcare Heroes Fund

Our “Treat a Healthcare Hero to Dinner” campaign for our Healthcare Heroes was a great way to partner with local restaurants to send a freshly prepared meal for two home with employees at the end of their shift. With the monetary donations raised through our Healthcare Heroes Fund, we arranged for 2,935 meals to be delivered by 15 local restaurants. This effort raised $167,312 from 494 donors.

Participating restaurants included, Applebees, Brick Farm, Capuano Ristorante, Elements, T.G.I. Friday’s, Jammin Crepes, La Mezzaluna, Lucy's Kitchen & Market, The Meeting House, Mistral, Terra Momo Restaurant Group, Morrison Healthcare, One 53, On the Border, Seasons 52, Yardley Inn and Washington Crossing Inn.
