Penn Medicine Princeton Health recognizes that a healthy workforce is essential in order for us to deliver the best care possible. We are committed to ensuring the well-being of our employees and providing help where it is needed.

Winter Wiggins, M.DIV.Winter Wiggins, M.DIV., is Princeton Health’s employee program specialist and care navigator. She oversees a new program called Project Thrive, which identifies the key social determinants of health that pose a risk to our workforce, and provides the support and resources necessary to eliminate barriers to stability for those in need.

In addition to leveraging partnerships with community organizations to help address these barriers, Wiggins manages the following programs:

Food Security — Partnering with the New Jersey Agricultural Society and GeoGreens (a hydroponics farm in Hamilton) as well as other agricultural organizations and farmers, we will pilot an onsite farmers’ market. It will provide locally grown produce for staff. The market will run in partnership with our Food & Nutrition Department offering meals-to-go that will feed a family of four.

Transportation — We are partnering with a local gas station to provide assistance for eligible employees in response to the rise in gas prices. We are also exploring offering New Jersey Transit passes to assist our employees who utilize public transportation.

Well-Being — Working with our Community Wellness Department, we offer yoga and meditation classes onsite to help alleviate stress and burnout.

Education and Personal/Professional Growth — We offer foundational financial literacy courses to empower employees by teaching the basics of money management.

The Barry S. Rabner Endowment

Barry Rabner served as president and CEO of Penn Medicine Princeton Health from 2002 to 2021. The endowment campaign was launched as a tribute to his support of employees and his efforts to help strengthen our organization’s ability to care for the community at large. We are grateful to those who contributed to this important initiative.
