Experts from our First Responder Treatment Service train new first responders, entire departments, and statewide organizations on wellbeing, resilience, and mental health education.

In 2022, Princeton House Behavioral Health First Responder Treatment Services trained more than 700 law enforcement and resiliency officers, including:

  • Mercer County Prosecutors Office Mercer County Sheriff’s Department
  • North Brunswick Youth Police Academy
  • Perth Amboy Police Department
  • Roselle Park Police Department
  • Union County Police Academy
  • New Jersey PBA Local 105

Led by Michael Bizzarro, PhD, LCSW, clinical director of First Responder Treatment Service, and Ken Burkert, Peer Support Specialist, training programs vary in length and topic, depending upon the need of the requesting department. Together, Dr. Bizzarro and Burkert have more than 30 years of direct law enforcement and military service. Learn more here.
