The North Brunswick outpatient site has reintroduced the Gateway Program (formerly called Gateway/MICA), which is designed for those who struggle primarily with psychotic disorders and, in some cases, substance use. Patients appropriate for this track often have chronic symptoms that have become more acute, such as experiencing a recent hospitalization or a significant deterioration in functioning. The Gateway treatment is a tailored approach to the unique needs of this population.

Princeton House's Wellness Wardrobe initiative provides basic necessities to those who enter treatment with only the clothes they are wearing. Many of these individuals arrive involuntarily or are indigent, homeless, or living under unsafe conditions. Offering these simple items to patients vastly impacts their overall experience, provides a sense of dignity, and aids in the healing process.
