Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) Foundation joins PHCS in welcoming Janet L. Ready as the President of University Medical Center of Princeton (UMCP) and Senior Vice President of PHCS. Ms. Ready began her work in October of this year. Serving as the senior-most executive of UMCP, Ms. Ready collaborates with the senior management team and leaders of the PHCS Medical Staff to ensure excellent clinical outcomes, promote outstanding patient satisfaction, maintain fiscally sound operations, and implement new programs and expand existing services at the hospital.
Previously, Ms. Ready, who was trained as an RN, has served as President of Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, a 365-bed regional acute care hospital and a recipient of Healthgrades 2014 America's 100 Best Hospitals Award. Prior to that, Ms. Ready was the Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Run Healthcare LLP, a 140-provider, multispecialty physician practice in Middletown, NY, and she has also been Vice President, Administration at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Peekskill, NY.
Ms. Ready attended Columbia University, where she earned a bachelor of science in nursing; a master's in public health, with a focus on health administration; and a master's in business administration, with a concentration in finance.
