Anticipation is in the air as UMCPP will proudly open its doors to the general public in May 2012, marking a true milestone in the way health care is delivered in our region.
Prior to this public opening, Princeton HealthCare System Foundation will gather together the most generous donors to the Design for Healing campaign for a sneak preview and welcome reception that will be held at the new hospital on April 28, 2012.
“We consider those who have given to the Design for Healing campaign to be pillars in the community, as well as pillars of philanthropy,” said Bob Doll, the campaign’s Co-chair. “Those of you who have made contributions have literally built the new hospital with us; and for this, we are grateful. This event will provide the opportunity for you to be among the first to see the new hospital before it is open to the public and to gather in celebration along with our other leading philanthropists.”
JoAnn Heffernan Heisen, Co-chair of the Design for Healing campaign, added, “Thanks to your investment, UMCPP will be one of the most innovative and efficient healthcare facilities in the country, serving as a model of new hospital design. The advanced technology that will be in place will allow our staff to continue to focus on the comfort and well-being of our patients and their families in a healing, patient-centered environment.”
Philanthropy will comprise more than 30% of the funding for the new hospital. So far, we have received gifts from more than 8,275 donors to the campaign. Space at this exclusive event will be limited.
