In 2010, Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) launched “Building a Healthy Future Together, ” its first-ever Employee Giving Campaign. In three short years, 830 (or 38% of employees throughout PHCS) generously donated more than $630,000. The results of this effort are a proud testament to the faith and pride employee donors have in our organization.
To help this program grow, donor recruitment drives were conducted twice a year throughout PHCS. Incentives for participation included raffles for donated prizes such as Apple iPads and restaurant certificates for new donors and for existing donors who encouraged their colleagues to participate.
Employee donors, based on their level of giving to the campaign, can see their names on a number of visible areas within the hospital, such as the Employee and Physician donor wall and the Design for Healing donor wall. Engraved bricks line the pathway near the Education Center Garden, and benches and trees with plaques will be installed throughout the campus as the landscaping is completed.
