What an exciting time it is at Princeton HealthCare System. As you drive along Route One, over the Millstone River, you cannot help but be impressed with the progress that is being made on our new hospital. With glass being installed and the shape of the new building coming to life, all of us are so proud of this state-of-the-art facility.
Not as visible as steel and glass rising from the ground has been the progress made on our fundraising efforts. The Design for Healing Campaign has made great progress over the last 55 months. We have over $110 million raised in gifts and pledges from over 6,000 donors. In these economically challenging times, one of the most gratifying aspects of contributions to the Design for Healing Campaign has been that a tremendous amount of support—about 45%—has come from first-time donors.
