DID YOU KNOW?

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer found in American men and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in men. Early detection greatly increases your odds of successfully treating prostate cancer.

WHO IS AT HIGHER RISK?

Those at higher risk include individuals assigned male at birth who are over 50 years old, particularly those who are Black or of African ancestry, and those with a family history of prostate cancer.

ABOUT THE PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING

This is not a urology appointment, it is a free screening that includes a (DRE) digital rectal
exam and a blood draw to test the levels of PSA—prostate-specific antigen—in your blood.

This confidential screening will be performed by a board certified urologist and healthcare professionals from Penn Medicine Princeton Health, and is sponsored by Penn Medicine Princeton Cancer Center.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCREENING?

To register for the screening, participants must be over 50 years old, unless they have a family history or other risk factors for prostate cancer. If you’ve had a prostate cancer screening within the last 10 months, you do not need to attend this screening.
