Breast imaging, including 3D mammography, is offered in Plainsboro and East Windsor at two of PMC's Outpatient Imaging locations.

Testing services include ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsy, MRI, MRI-guided biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy (an interventional procedure that offers women an alternative to surgical biopsy of breast issue) and breast needle localization.

PMC Breast Health Center's leadership includes a Medical Director, Dr. Rachel Dultz, who is a board certified, fellowship-trained breast surgeon and a Director of Medical Imaging, Dr. Christopher Ananian, who is a board certified and fellowship-trained radiologist.

PMC has earned national accreditation recognizing the excellence of its full spectrum of breast care, from preventive services such as mammography to the most advanced cancer treatments.

The PMC Breast Health Center is a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence through the American College of Radiology.

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons, awarded the three-year full accreditation to the breast care services provided at PMC and the PMC Breast Health Center in East Windsor.

The PMC Breast Health Center offers the following advantages to patients:

  • Immediate results available for diagnostic mammograms
  • Same-day results for screening mammograms performed at the PMC Breast Health Center before 3 p.m. each weekday 
  • Patient care coordinated by breast health navigators
  • Genetic counseling
  • A soothing and comfortable, spa-like setting
