UMCP to Provide Art for Healing Tours on November 30

November 11, 2016
University Medical Center of Princeton (UMCP) will provide guided tours of its Art for Healing collection and offer attendees an opportunity to meet some of the featured artists during a special event Wednesday, November 30, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event was organized in conjunction with the Alliance for Arts & Health NJ to celebrate November as Arts & Health Month.

After their tours, attendees can enjoy refreshments and conversation with artists and fellow art lovers at a reception that will be held in the Art for Healing Gallery, which hosts exhibits showcasing artists whose work is included in UMCP's permanent Art for Healing collection.

The collection includes more than 300 paintings, photographs, sculptures and other original works that are displayed throughout the hospital's public spaces and patient areas. The art helps to foster an environment that enhances the well-being of patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and visitors.
