Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) employees, physicians and volunteers donated more than a dozen packed boxes' worth of non-perishable food to the Plainsboro Township Food Pantry in PHCS' annual Tackle Hunger food drive. Joanne Banner, Human Resources, Client Services Manager, and Charles Thompson, Automotive Services, delivered the goods on Tuesday, January 19. The food was collected at University Medical Center of Princeton, Princeton House Behavioral Health and many other PHCS locations. Tackle Hunger coincides each year with Martin Luther King Jr. Day to echo his message of giving back to one's community. Plainsboro's Food Pantry provides food to more than 30 local families, supported by a grant and donations from corporations, community groups and individuals.
