Princeton House Behavioral Health has opened a new outpatient center, bringing high-quality mental health and addiction services closer to residents of Monmouth and Ocean counties.

The 7,000-square-foot center, located at 615 Hope Road in Eatontown on the Tinton Falls border, opened to patients today—Monday, May 4.

The new center offers Princeton House's well-regarded Women's Program, which features specialized services within four areas: trauma, trauma and addiction, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and emotion regulation.

Services are delivered at two levels of care-partial hospital (five full days per week) or intensive outpatient (three half-days per week).

"The level of services we provide at the new center is unprecedented for these coastal and inland areas of New Jersey," said Gregory Fernandez, MD, a board certified psychiatrist who will be Medical Director of the new site. "We will be able to extend the continuum of care we provide when patients transition from inpatient care to partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs."

The center's multidisciplinary clinical staff transferred from other Princeton House sites, where they have treated clients in the Women's Program for many years.

"Our staff has been trained extensively in DBT skills, allied therapies, and other treatment methods that we utilize successfully among our women clients," said Peter Thomas, PhD, Vice President of Outpatient Services for Princeton House. "Our desirable location in the Eatontown/Tinton Falls area of Monmouth County will expand patient access and facilitate referrals from community providers."

Additional Princeton House programs will be offered at this new site in the future. To make a referral, call 1-888-437-1610.

The Eatontown/Tinton Falls location is Princeton House's sixth outpatient center, joining two existing centers in Princeton and one each in Moorestown, Hamilton and North Brunswick. The Women's Program is offered at five of the six locations.
