Plainsboro-Based Medical Practice Joins Princeton Medicine Network

Plainsboro Family Physicians, LLP, a practice offering comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages, and its two board certified practitioners have joined Princeton Medicine, the primary and specialty care physician network of Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS).

Plainsboro Family Physicians, LLP, will maintain its name and current location in the Office Center at Princeton Meadows, 666 Plainsboro Road, Suite 1316, Plainsboro.

The two practitioners joining Princeton Medicine are:

Andrew H. Sokel, MD, FAAFP (left), board certified in Family Medicine and Chairman, Department of Family Medicine, of the PHCS Medical Staff.

Dr. Sokel earned his medical degree at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and completed his residency at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.

He and his family live in Montgomery.

 

 

 

Peter C. Tierney, MD (left), board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the PHCS Medical Staff.

Dr. Tierney earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.

He and his family live in West Windsor.

Services offered by the physicians range from well-child visits, immunization and school physicals for pediatric patients to specialized geriatric care for older adults. The doctors provide routine physical exams, health screenings and women's health services. They also work with patients to manage acute or chronic conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory diseases, diabetes, hepatitis and hypertension.
