PHCS Mother & Baby Shower: Health Tips, Services for Area Families

Maternity Tours and Infant CPR Training Also Available
Those who are expecting, thinking about pregnancy or already have young children are invited to Princeton HealthCare System’s annual Mother & Baby Shower, which is scheduled for Sunday, October 15 at University Medical Center of Princeton (UMCP).

The Mother & Baby Shower will run from 12 to 3:30 p.m., with most activities to be held in the Schreyer Education Center, 1st Floor, UMCP. The fun-filled, educational event will feature:

• Health tips from Princeton HealthCare System health educators
• Car seat safety checks, giveaways and refreshments
• Kid-friendly activities, including crafts and music
• Information on family services available at UMCP
• Interactive demos and services for new families provided by local businesses

The Mother & Baby Shower is provided with support from the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium. Those who pre-register for the event will be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card. To register, visit www.princetonhcs.org/calendar or call 1-888-897-8979.

Also during the Mother & Baby Shower, Princeton HealthCare System will offer infant CPR classes and tours of the state-of-the-art Center for Maternal & Newborn Care at UMCP.

Infant CPR
Teaches first-aid techniques for choking and CPR to help infants (1 year old or younger)
