Children can receive professional tips on eating healthy and getting physically fit through two new programs offered free of charge by Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) Community Education & Outreach.

Build a Better Snack!—led by Jane Schwartz, RD, Outpatient & Community Education Dietitian at University Medical Center of Princeton—will offer kids a hands-on, fun-filled session during which they get to help make and sample their own tasty, energy boosting and nutritious treats.

In the second program, Kick Start the Fun!, a personal trainer will show the kids how to warm up, improve balance, build strength and, most of all, make exercise fun.

Both programs are intended for children in kindergarten through 8th Grade. Children must be accompanied by a parent. See below for the program schedules.
