East Windsor-Based Primary Care Practice Joins Princeton Medicine

Monroe Medical Associates and its primary care practitioners are now part of Princeton Medicine, the primary and specialty care physician network of Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS).

The practice retained its name and current office at 685 Avon Drive, East Windsor.

The practitioners of Monroe Medical Associates are:

  • Raul Valcarcel, MD, a board certified internist who began his clinical practice in 1990.
  • Elsa Negrin, APN, an advanced practice nurse who is a graduate of New York University and earned her nurse practitioner certification at The College of New Jersey.

A graduate of Tulane University, Dr. Valcarcel earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico and completed his internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Valcarcel is a primary care physician who treats a wide range of conditions, including sleep disorders, respiratory issues and chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. His areas of interest also include weight loss management, travel medicine, women’s health and immigration physicals.

Ms. Negrin, like Dr. Valcarcel, is a primary care practitioner who focuses on overall health and wellness, emphasizing preventive care and healthy lifestyles.

Both Dr. Valcarcel and Ms. Negrin are fluent in Spanish as well as English.
