CHAPA HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE DECEMBER 15, 2017

On December 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., Princeton HealthCare System Holding, Inc. (PHCS) will request the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Middlesex County to approve a proposed affiliation transaction between PHCS and The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania subject to the conditions established by the Attorney General under the Community Health Care Assets Protection Act, N.J.S.A. 26:2H-7.10, et seq.  The hearing will be held before the Honorable Arnold L. Natali, Jr., P.J.S.C., in Judge Natali’s courtroom in the Middlesex County Courthouse, which is located at 56 Paterson Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08903

The terms of the affiliation transaction and the basis for court approval are set forth in greater detail in the Verified Complaint filed by PHCS in the case captioned In the Matter of the Approval of the Proposed Transaction of Princeton HealthCare System Holding, Inc. with the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:2H-7.10, et. seq., Docket No. MID-C-181-17.  The Verified Complaint and all other papers (including copies of the Attorney General’s recommendation letter) are available for review on PHCS’s website, www.princetonhcs.org, and at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, 1 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro, New Jersey 08536.  You may also request a copy of these materials through counsel for PHCS.  Please contact Riley T. Any answer, objection, or other written response to the relief sought in the Verified Complaint must be: (a) filed with the Clerk of the Superior Court by December 7, 2017 (with a copy of any such filings sent directly to Judge Natali’s chambers at the address for Judge Natali listed above); and (b) served, by December 7, 2017, upon counsel for PHCS at the above address, with a copy to the Attorney General of New Jersey, attention of Deputy Attorney General Jay A. Ganzman, Esq., at the R.J. Hughes Justice Complex, 25 Market Street, P.O. Box 106, Trenton, New Jersey 08648 .  Please include the docket number on any communication with the court.
