Gui Valladares is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Penn Medicine Princeton Health. Prior to Princeton Health, Mr. Valladares worked with a number of academic and community health systems located on the east coast and abroad. Mr. Valladares started his career at BD, a Fortune 500 international medical device company, before working for health systems in Baltimore and in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas: Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Kennedy Health System and Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Mr. Valladares moved to New Jersey with his wife and two children after spending 10 years at Hopkins. From 2002 to 2007 Mr. Valladares was the Corporate Director of Finance at Suburban Hospital. Shortly before Suburban became part of Hopkins he joined Johns Hopkins Medicine International and served as its Chief Financial Officer until 2012, helping to operate and implement a number of hospitals and academic affiliations worldwide.
Mr. Valladares earned his MBA from Loyola University Maryland, with a concentration in finance. He earned a double Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Maryland College, in business administration and economics, with a minor in accounting. He is trained in Lean Six Sigma techniques, fluent in Portuguese and conversant in Spanish.
